This is a proper drag race. One between the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and astonishing Aventador Roadster. A quite interesting fight between roofless cars which should not have similar performance. But they actually do.
Now, the Huracan Spyder is a mid-engined beast with a 5.2 liter V10 under the rear hatch. In its top form, the engine gives out 610hp. It transfers it to all four wheels in a rather ferocious way. This is a powerful and raw car.
However, not as raw and as powerful as its bigger brother – the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. This one makes do with a V12 capable of making 700hp. That is a lot.
Interestingly enough, despite much more power, the power/weight ratio is not that much difference between the two. Every hp of the Huracan Spyder V10 deals with 2.8 kilograms. On the other hand, the Aventador Roadster V12 has to deal with 2.7 kilograms of power. Russians compared the two beasts giving them proper thrashing at the drag race and the results are much closer than any of us would ever think possible.
Both machines have their own way of sending the power to the wheels. One takes the 700hp and sends it through the single-clutch Independent Shift Rods box, while the other sends it to the ground via a dual clutch transmission.
